Kelly Henry will lead a group of snowshoers on the trail to Odell Lake Overlook / hence the trail's name.
We will meet in the Albertsons parking lot located at 3075 Hilyard Street at 9:30 AM and be on the trail by 11:15 AM.
The drive from Eugene to the Gold Lake Parking lot is about 1 1/2 hours. All driving participants need a winter parking pass for their vehicles. These can be purchased locally in town, REI, Bi-Mart, etc.
This trail is EZ to moderate, with some uphill on the return hike coming out from the lookout point. The lookout point is where we will pause, take in the view, and eat lunch (please bring a sack lunch). The Round trip is about 3.5 miles, and the group must stay together for the entire hike; the group will be limited to 15 participants. Please let me know if you plan on joining by replying to the Altair site, and also, please get in touch with me to indicate if you will be driving.
